The Postcard Agency is expanding, and we’re seeking a motivated part-time social media associate to help execute meaningful social media marketing campaigns for our local and national clients.

Job Description

The Postcard Agency seeks a driven, energetic and highly-organized social media associate to provide clients with quality content and services. As the agency continues to expand, it requires a skilled, detail-oriented and proactive individual who can keep projects moving forward while delivering superior client service. 

Reports to: Jonathan Ochart, Founder and CEO of The Postcard Agency

Marketing & PR Responsibilities

  • Social media marketing: Write social media copy for clients, create and upload social media graphics, trim and manually upload client videos across social platforms, update social media calendars, schedule social media content for publishing, operate social media management platforms and engage with social media audiences to increase engagement and gain more followers
  • Reporting: Download social media marketing reports
  • Client Relations: Opportunity to communicate with clients after 1-2 months with the agency

Account Management Responsibilities

  • Support project management efforts for clients and the agency to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner within budget
  • Report and escalate issues or delays to management as needed
  • Represent The Postcard Agency in a professional yet friendly and personable manner across all communication channels


  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Superior writing, speaking and project management skills
  • Excellent command of the English language, including spelling and grammar
  • Social media experience (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Knowledge of marketing or communications
  • Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment
  • A passion for creativity, diversity, inclusivity, equality, social justice, sustainability and doing the right thing
  • Community involvement is a plus


  • 1 or more years of social media marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field

Hours and Pay

  • Hours: The Part-Time Social Media Associate will work approximately 5-10 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: $17-20/hour based on experience
