The Postcard Agency Wins 2022 dotCOMM Award for Business-to-Business Website
July 15, 2022—SAN ANTONIO—The Postcard Agency, a digital marketing and public relations firm headquartered in San Antonio, won a Gold dotCOMM Award in the Business-to-Business Website category for bringing PBS National Sales’ website to life in a fresh, new way.
The dotCOMM Awards program has honored excellence in web creativity and digital communication since its inception in 1994 and receives more than 6,000 entries each year. Approximately 13% of entries are recognized with a Gold Award.
“Our clients wanted to showcase the power of PBS programming while making it even easier for prospects to explore sponsorship opportunities that align with their marketing and advertising goals,” said Jonathan Ochart, founder and CEO of The Postcard Agency. “Our web design team built the entire site around PBS programs and the elements that make them special: memorable hosts, lovable characters, beautiful footage, immersive scenes and unforgettable stories.”
The Postcard Agency designed the organization’s previous website in 2019, which also won a Gold dotCOMM award in the “Website Redesign” category. After two years of growth, the public media sales organization wanted to revamp the user experience with new goals in mind.
“We drew upon our forward-thinking website design, search engine optimization and copywriting skills to create a sleek and minimal business-to-business website that showcased PBS’s most beloved programs all at once,” Ochart continued. “Streamlining the user experience with data-driven research from the previous website led to significant increases in contact form submissions and quality website traffic, supporting our client’s top priorities shortly after launching the website.”
The client experienced a 143% increase in contact form submissions, a 74% increase in users and a 78% increase in website sessions three months after The Postcard Agency launched the new business-to-business website.
“It has been an absolute honor and privilege to support the PBS National Sales team since our founding in 2018,” Ochart said. “Working with such talented and passionate people throughout the past four years has been one of the biggest highlights of my marketing career. We thank them for trusting us to support their incredible work and mission.”
The annual dotCOMM Awards program is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the largest, oldest and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry.
